What this actually is
Structured contact at day 3, 13, 30, 90, 180 and 365 — the points at which support usually stops and grief usually does not. Counselling is available where it is wanted, and the household’s practical loose ends, including a dependent pet, are not left to sort themselves out.
How long it takes
Twelve months from the date of loss
What is included
- Scheduled post-loss check-ins at six points across the first year
- Referral to qualified grief counselling on request
- Estate and claims tracking: insurance, pension, bank and property
- Care or rehoming for a dependent pet
